Before we can put keys in the hands of a new homeowner or renter, a building must be either built from scratch or remodeled to become a suitable home for our residents. When it comes to rehabbing buildings, the transformation can be quite dramatic! One such case was the home of Cathy Marion, who we featured in our first “Meet the Community” blog post. Through partnerships with various businesses, community partners, and government agencies, we were able to turn a historic and once neglected building into a modern home Cathy and her family could call their own.
